About three years ago, director Gonzalo Arijon asked himself these questions, and inspired by the book ‘The Open Veins of Latin America’ by Eduardo Galeano-the same book Hugo Chavez of Venezuela gave to President Obama as present- he finally grabbed his camera and embarked on a journey.
¿Qué está sucediendo realmente en América del Sur a principios del nuevo milenio? Pero, ¿cómo representar el espíritu de lo que ocurre en una sola película? Hace unos tres años, el director Gonzalo Arijón, se preguntó a estas preguntas, y finalmente tomó su cámara en una mano y el libro “Las venas abiertas de América Latina” de Eduardo Galeano, el mismo libro de Hugo Chávez de Venezuela dio al presidente Obama como la actual y se embarcó en un viaje.
